Job Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding CoreNett’s footprint in the fintech industry. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, sales, and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fintech trends, payment technologies, and customer needs in the financial sector. They will collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that enhance CoreNett’s market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies to increase CoreNett’s market share and revenue.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and engage potential clients, build strong relationships, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and technology providers to enhance CoreNett’s offerings.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, assess competition, and provide insights for product development.
- Sales & Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close high-value deals that drive business expansion.
- Product & Solution Advocacy: Work closely with the product and technical teams to align solutions with market demands.
- Performance Monitoring: Set and track KPIs for business development activities, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
- Brand Representation: Represent CoreNett at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build the company’s reputation and market presence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management in the fintech, banking, or payment technology industry.
- Strong understanding of digital payments, financial technology solutions, and industry regulations.
- Proven ability to identify and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the Ghanaian and African fintech ecosystem is a plus.
