Job Description


The Sales Associate plays an integral role in the Institutions and Private Wealth Unit and has a broad and deep understanding of investment management practices and strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience communicating with and working with more sophisticated investors including HNI, Institutional and Pension clients, as they will be one of the primary contacts for these clients.

The Sales Associate is responsible for leading in the development of new client relationships and
maintaining the existing client relationships. Other duties include financial planning and investment
management, and delivering exceptional customized investment solutions and services to clients.

Job Description

Client Acquisition - New Business Development and Marketing

  • Develop referrals from current clients and leads from external contacts
  • Increase investment inflows to grow the Assets under management (AUM) of the Unit
  • Proactively identify opportunities to promote the company's products and services

Financial Planning and Investment Management

  • Evaluate and discuss investment options to meet clients' financial and life goals
  • Collaborate with the Unit Head and Portfolio Management Team regarding investment strategy
  • Provide investment recommendations to individuals and institutions


Relationship Management

  • Build trust and confidence with clients to identify and address all their financial needs
  • Understand and discuss investment performance, economic and market trends with clients
  • Develop and/or deliver financial planning informative sessions to clients and prospects
  • Provide excellent customer service and experience to clients
  • Cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients

Required Skills Or Experience

  • First degree from a reputable University
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of clients
  • Strong, affable and pleasant personality; and a team player
  • Results driven and ability to work under pressure and for long hours (if required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
