businesses. We empower entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into viable, self-sustaining businesses and we
work alongside promising small businesses to help them scale and reach their full potential.
Each program is driven by local staff and private sector experts, resulting in a distinctive focus on
commercial solutions and local knowledge. Our customized, best-in-class business support programs
feature a mix of skills training, mentorship, and seed funding.
Since our inception, more than 3,000 young leade0rs have been trained in business skills and
entrepreneurship through participation in our programs. Many of the start-ups formed or incubated
through us have secured additional investment and gone on to win other start-up competitions.

Job Description:
Summary
The Program Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical oversight for all
our component activities across all regional hubs/centers in Ghana and leads coordination of all program
elements as well as collaboration with partners to grow and manage the program.
The role will report to the Executive Director.
The focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization
and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused
on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job.
Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and
creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Decision-making is focused on implementing practical,
timely solutions. The job requires getting things done quickly and handling a variety of activities. Self-
assurance, and the confidence to purposely drive toward results and engaging the commitment of others
is essential. A leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way is important. The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals
and groups requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Program Development and Implementation across regional locations
o Develops AgriTech Challenge, Business Booster, School Farm Competition and Women’s
Bootcamp strategic plans, trains and directs staff on the implementation of strategic plan across
all components of the program.
o Develops and maintains a network of program collaborators to build sustainability across all
regional zones.
o Ensures that assigned project-based programs adhere to established schedules, specifications,
and budgets.
o Manages overall program timeline and implementation in accordance with our program mandate
and in collaboration with partner requirements.
o Leads local elements of the program and directs activities of regional officers on tactical
implementation.
o Ensures high quality execution, and good experience for all program stakeholders.
o Develops and implements program related policies and procedures.
Reporting, Monitoring, and Evaluation
o Ensures implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework so indicators and
targets ascribed to internal staff and external collaborating partners are duly achieved.
o Supervise the M&E Specialist in data collection efforts and progressive update of indicator
tracking and target table
o Support timely development and submission of technical progress reports to donor(s).
o Prepares, activity proposals, and other topics as needed for collaborating partners.
Program Advisor
o Serves as the lead advisor on all program related issues for existing and new partnerships.
Staff Management Responsibility
o Has oversight responsibility for all staff within the program unit and ensures effective
implementation of their activities and duties.
o Supervises the day-to-day workflow of the department; Conducts performance evaluations that
are timely and constructive.
o Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or related field required. Master’s degree or
professional certification in project management is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in agribusiness, entrepreneurship or a related field and 4years management experience.
